Bob Costas messed up his first pitch so he threw another

If only 50 Cent or Miss Texas had the same amount of influence in Major League Baseball as Bob Costas.

The sportscaster threw out the first pitch at the Reds-Cardinals game on Tuesday and was so embarrassed by the first one (which to be fair, wasn't all that terrible) that he got a redo.

Does this change the game of all first pitches? What if one of the disastrous first pitch throwers demanded another try? Will people start going for third or fourth pitches?
